How we use your information.
Short version: we only collect what you send us, we use it to reply to you, and we don't sell it to anyone.

Who we are
XONO Creative Marketing is a creative marketing agency based in Beverley, East Yorkshire, United Kingdom. For anything to do with your information, email hello@xonocreative.co.uk.
What we collect
When you use the contact form or email us, we collect what you give us: your name, business name, email address or phone number, which services you're interested in, and your message. If you book a call, the booking tool collects the details needed to arrange it.
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard technical information about visits, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and running. We don't use this to identify you.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and talk to you about working together.
- To send an automatic acknowledgement and, if we don't hear back, a short follow-up.
- To keep a record of our conversations if you become a client.
The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business, and, once you're a client, performing our contract with you. We don't use your details for unrelated marketing without asking you first, and you can tell us to stop at any time.
Where it's stored
Enquiries are stored in our customer relationship management system (HighLevel), which we also use to send replies, follow-ups and text messages. Our email is provided by Google Workspace and the site is hosted by Cloudflare. These providers may process data outside the UK under safeguards recognised by UK data protection law.
If you're a client
When we run automation, websites or social media for you, we handle your customers' details (names, contact details, bookings and messages) on your behalf and on your instructions. That information stays yours, along with your contacts and conversation history. Replies sent through our automation are AI-assisted and are processed in HighLevel; your customers can reach a person at any time, and text messages include a way to opt out. We don't use your customers' details for our own marketing. We may use anonymised results, such as response times or enquiry numbers, in our own marketing, without naming your business or your customers.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. It uses only what's needed to make the site work. If we add analytics or advertising measurement in future, we'll update this notice and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and for up to six years afterwards, as required for accounting purposes.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@xonocreative.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
